PROJECT
How It Works
We gather the materials and
assemble the kits
You pick up a kit and make the masks
We disinfect the masks
We distribute the masks to care providers
-
What comes in a kit? Each kit will be able to make 50 masks and will contain: -100 pieces of 10”x6” pre cut rectangles of cotton fabric -100 6” pieces of elastic -100 pieces of flannel paper to use as a filter Thread, needles, and other sewing equipment are not included in the kit.
-
How much of a time commitment is this?Depending on your sewing experience level, each mask takes 5-10 minutes to sew. Each volunteer will have 5 days to complete sewing their kit
